In the name of God

Daily lesson plan

Teachers name : M.Azarnia         Name of school : Ghoddosi           Dat:31/07/2006 Motivation of students : medium       Lesson : 4                   Teaching point : teaching dialogue

Materials : clock, picture,chalk,textbook,blackboard,                 Time : 30 minutes

Number of students: 27                        Grade : two                       Level : guidance school

Goals

 

      Students can ask and tell the time in English

 

Performance objectives

 

a)    students learn the meaning of the new words in dialogue( about,please,hi)

b)    student learn a pattern for asking the time( What time is it?)

c)     student learn a new dialogue and manipulate it.

 

Pre-presentation activities

Greeting

a)    In the name of God

b)    Hello

c)     How are you?

Calling the roll

The teacher reads the students name to know who is absent and pays attention to everybody’s  feelings.

While-presentation activities

Warm up

a)    The teacher says: in this dialogue we want to learn asking the time by (( What time is it?))

b)    Teaching new words (( about, hi,please)

Presentation

1.stusents close their books and the teacher reads the dialogue two times.

2.students open their books and repeat the dialogue after teacher first chorally and then the teacher repeats Amirs

role and students Hadis  role and vice-versa.

3. The teacher divide class into two halves and they take roles.

4. Some of the students read the dialogue

Summary assessment

The teacher asks some of the students to perform the dialogue.

Homework assignment

Students Should memorize the      dialogue at home and perform in the classroom and they can manipulate it.

1. The teacher asks the meaning of the new words(about,please,hi)

2. The teacher asks the time by referring to the clock.

3. The teacher asks some of the students to read the dialogue.( one student A another B)
